With skilled estimators and sketchers on staff, we provide expert services for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality results delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred).
Must be able to read and interpret a mechanical design drawing.
Experience having performed a take-off on a mechanical design drawing.
General understanding of commercial construction processes and standards.
General understanding of HVAC (specifically piping) systems.
Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu
and AutoCAD MEP preferred.
Must be able to work extended hours as required by the workload.
Responsibilities Maintain the front desk.
Including but not limited to, answering and redirecting phone calls as needed.
Taking messages as needed.
Filing of new bid documents into the company database.
Maintaining the bid schedule.
Ensuring that the most updated drawings are filed correctly and prepared for bid.
Collarborating with senior members of the office:
maintain and organize the Active Jobs folder.
Including but not limited to design drawings, specs, shop drawings, AutoCAD files, submittals, and specs.
Send out requests for the aforementioned items from various clients & vendors to maintain accuracy.
Coordinate with office staff.
Perform quanitity take-offs on mechanical design and shop drawings as needed.
File invoices into the company database.
Maintain office supplies as needed.
Order as needed.
